CORE BELIEFS

Stewardship:  taking care of what God gave us.

Education:  discovering the issues and problems
and learning what to do and how to do it.

                    Awareness:  creating an informed population
                         who cares.

Action:  change our community by changing how we
impact our environment.  Working with community
leaders and businesses to improve our carbon foot print.

WHAT WE CAN DO TODAY

Reduce energy consumption in your church and home.

                                Eliminate waste caused by over-consumption.

                                Participate in recycling efforts.

Become politically sensitive and active regarding government
                               environmental issues.

                               Re-buy and Reuse.

                               Personally help reduce pollution.

                               Receive and share environmental information

Changing the world begins with changing
ourselves.  Living by example is the best
witness to the truth of what we believe.
We have one earth.  As we care for it,
                                         it will care for us.

“It is easy to be overwhelmed by the massive
     problems or mismanagement of creation
has caused.  Yet it does not belong to our
       Christian identity to become paralyzed.
Rather, this knowledge spurs us to little deeds
of creation care that add up to millions of
        small, yet significant, acts that
       restore the earth."
